Workshop: Software tools for structural bioinformatics
Radka Svobodová from the Structural Bioinformatics group organized a workshop, Software Tools for Structural Bioinformatics, on 12-14 February.
A Structural Bioinformatics research group member, Ondřej Schindler, together with Radka Svobodová, was awarded the prestigious MUNI Scientist Award for outstanding scientific contribution. The award was given for the paper αCharges: partial atomic charges for AlphaFold structures in high quality, published in the prestigious journal Nucleic Acids Research.
The award ceremony occurred in the atrium of the CEITEC Institute of Masaryk University. The award is part of the efforts of the internal Grant Agency of Masaryk University (GAMU) to strengthen the motivation of scientists and spread the university's good name not only in the scientific community but also in the public.
