Two new doctoral students

Two doctoral students have joined our research group: Adrián Rošinec and Tomáš Svoboda. They will both work on their theses under the supervision of the leader of our research group, Radka Svobodová. The thesis of Adrián is "Metadata for annotation of experimental data". Tomáš's thesis is "Bioinformatics workflow for experimental data management".

The Structural Bioinformatics Research Group participated in Researchers' Night as part of a broader programme organised by the National Centre for Biomolecular Research.

Three papers have been published as part of the project Optimisation of AI-predicted protein structures

Collaboration between the NCBR at the Faculty of Science, Masaryk University, and CESNET has resulted in the development of the PROPTIMUS tools for correcting and optimising AI-predicted protein structures.

Successfully defended dissertation thesis

On 3rd September, our colleague Gabriela Bučeková successfully defended her dissertation thesis at the Faculty of Science, Masaryk University. Her thesis topic is "Bioinformatics analysis of protein properties".
